Life is so easy; one thinks ah.. Christmas/New Year-week comes, kind of holiday, then I go somewhere and do what I like most.

Well all the other people think the same, result: clogged roads, trains, aeroports, restaurants, shops, ski-lifts, pricey hotel-rooms, pricey-meals.

First year you observe that fact, what do you do next year? If you have school-going children, what can you do against the rigid holiday-schedules?
The winter-tourist village where I live likes the concentrated upcoming of the tourists in winter. They (the hotel/pension owners) delay the moment that the hotels are staffed and ready just before the weekend of Cristmas. They like the income stream of a full house. So the clever one who wants to act after observing and thinking and finding a loophole for the children finds closed doors if he decides to start his holiday earlier. He has to find a better way.
I think so is life in all aspects. You only find ere-ways of life if you observe how strange it is to work for money most of the blooming time of your life, you only find new paths if you become aware of your own rigid way of thinking, you can only walk new paths if you act in a different way.
It took me years to leave the idea of holiday at all, and to be able to do wintersports not as a tourist but as a (parttime) inhabitant of that village.
The trits: observe, think and act is something you can never underestimate. Do you have one to share in the forum?
