San Francisco Meetup

Hey, just moved to San Francisco and wondering if anybody else is here and would like to meet up!

I don't know the city well but will tentatively propose [edited] the Ferry Building on March 1 at 1 pm. I will have a sign or something. We can walk to a building somewhere after initially meeting if it's too cold outside. If you know the city better than I do (very high probability) and have a better idea for a location, please let me know!

I will confirm a couple days before the meetup whether it's a go or no-go depending on how many RSVPs there are. Please reply here if you're thinking of attending!

I’m around (Fairfax) but my dad is in town until the 18th. What if we push out to late Feb / early March? I’ll Ferry in so anything near public transport / walking is good with me (the ferry building in itself is a pretty great meetup spot in bad weather).

Oh my goodness, sorry everyone , I haven’t been around for a bit and just realized I had missed this date. Two family members of my DGF passed away unexpectedly in the past month and then she got a weeklong norovirus (I.e. 101+ degree fever for over a week, and just recovering the end of this week). So I was in caring / survival mode. And then I am also renovating an old farmhouse while selling another house, so things are falling through the cracks…

I should be apple to support 1PM next Saturday. Setting some alarms and buying a ferry ticket right now!

Sounds good, I’ll be wearing a blue corduroy jacket, blue shirt, blue hat, red beard. The ferry gets in at noonish, so I’ll probably be reading a book at the tea house beforehand if anyone shows up early.
