Right now I am enjoying my third mixed drink, which I randomly chose from one of my many "reference" books.
I am also waiting for a buttered tortilla to eat while SO makes dinner (not my "turn" yet to make)
Pondering whether to make a move on a house in Moss Landing which is near the beach, an all time favorite place to me (the beach not Moss Landing)
Reading The Joy of not Working, and seeing I still have ways to go to further enjoy my leisure time.
What are you doing right now?

I should look for a drink to represent ERE. Strong at first, then relaxing and enjoyable, something you want to have all the time after the initial sip.
I think AMF's fit the bill, and, it fits with the attitude to real "work", heh

Just wrapped up an intense week+ of turning apartments (in our college town almost all leases end around July 31), which kept me away from the forum for awhile. Making the weekend to-do list and finalizing plans for cross country season, which starts next week. Relaxing with drink number two and looking forward to my first night with no alarm clock in about two weeks.

What is cross country season? Is that biking/running/something?
Also, and maybe this is a separate post - do rental rates go down in such a college town since people leave or what?
Funny you mention alarm clocks - I am perpetually late to work, but usually wake up a lil bit before my Ipod plays a little blues jingle that sounds cool...internal alarm works best for me it seems.

Cross country is a distance running sport - in our state girls race 4K and guys 5K. Around here meets are usually run on golf courses or on school grounds. I coach a high school team.
As for rental rates, graduating students leave but there's always a new class of incoming students to replace them. (Which can a good thing for pizza delivery businesses with bad customer service :) - you get an influx of new, innocent customers every year)

Drinking hot cacao, firing up my virtual machine getting ready for a day of SQL and table work -yeah! Listening to music with tag 'ambient'
On breaks planning to read 'You Can Retire Early' and finishing 'How I Found Freedom...' Hopefully get to 'The Joy of Not Working' later today.
... Thinking about "Irishing up" my AM beverage.

I'm getting ready for another round of downsizing. IOW, I'm heading into the shed. Good thing to do after yesterday's racing and drinking.

Drinking some hot blueberry tea. Trying to think where the Labor day weekend went and what to do for the rest of the evening.
Maybe I'll finish reading Slaughterhouse 5.

I guess I could pack a bunch of DVDs to bring and whatever isn't taken can go to my DVD donate place...
Recovering from BBQ yesterday, about to wash some dishes and Oysters for dinner with the left over bbq.
