Hope you made it ok to the airport @jean!
I also think it was great and so does DW. Suspect we’ll be seeing each other again one way or another. Thanks to all for the opportunity of meeting you in the flesh!

Visit to Riga and loutfard in Lativa.
First time for us ( DW and me) to travel to a Baltic country. Lativa has a direct border to Russia. Riga has a small beautiful city centre, good restored (very) old buildings and jugend stile mansions. A brand new icon library on the riverside 11 stocks high and a roof terrace for stunning views. We were there three days.
And then the journey to loutfard’s, 110 km by bus, then a two hour walk on dirt roads and paths. Mostly sparsely habitated agricultural lands interspersed with dense woods. Good weather all the time. At l’ place, we met three stukadoors working on the outside of the just constructed two storey straw-leem house with a metal cladded saddle roof. We opened the entrance door and found 5 pairs of shoes near a wooden staircase. Groundfloor not jet finished. So we put our shoes also there and climbed to the first floor… and there we found them all. Preperation of the evening meal in full swing. And so it started. We got a room like our host and Jean. Bos, guitarplayer and his wife slept in a tent in the not jet cultivated garden. To meet new ere people is a bone! On Sunday late afternoon we saw a male deer outside and two cranes flew just over the field on the side of the house .
Thanks loutfard for your hospitality and courage to invite us and inform us how your straw/clay house is constructed and is to be finished.
Then we all flew home: to Switzerland, Scotland, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Each of us with plans to voyage some further on an ere-path.
