This is funny because a Smartmoney journalist contacted me some time ago and decided not to run with the story.
I guess they're coming around.

Odd, I had just read this article a few minutes prior to jumping over to the forum. I agreed with it in many areas.

If someone has a 3000 sq ft house, and a big lot of stuff, it makes sense especially at retirement time to lower your vulnerability. Noted that many had eyes bigger than their wallets to begin with and sorely need to move out of the palace. Restating my comment from another post: "You will most likely leave the planet staring at the ceiling tiles in a small semi private room anyway."
