DNS transfer in progress Was: DNS recommendations?

Post by jacob »

Time to migrate the DNS of this website...

Any recommendations?

Any benefits to going off-shore, staying on-shore?

We are talking DNS, not domain registration, correct?

I use Cloudflare free for the few blogs that I maintain. However it's more than DNS. They also optionally offer free and paid DDOS protection, HTTPS, and CDN services. I pay nothing and am quite impressed with their level of service.

+1 for Namecheap

The price for renewing is always reasonable and Whois privacy can be had for $1/year with their eternal coupon code. They also support MFA and DNSSEC.

Edit: They now include Whois privacy for free

We're currently in the process of switching over. Website/forum might be down at some point.
