Re: ERE Marching Meetup Series
Also, I had a stupid idea: How about a "team carry" of one 53lbs kettlebell? We take turns following some kind of systematic rotation to be worked out. For example, left hand until failure and handover to the next person, coming back, then right hand until failure and handover the next person.

Catchup for season 2 and before:
4 books (thriftstore, tried to sell it secondhand before)
3 books (friends)
a bag full of used clothing (thriftstore)
This weeks I should get rid of 5 items I believe. Plenty of stuff to get rid of, I find myself already thinking of which 'big bangs' I want to ...

So you did it, you are ERE! To paraphrase The Good Book, a net worth you can ERE on *was* trivial to acquire. And thanks to your robust, frictionless Web of Goals (WoG), you can do a lot of meaningful, fun, frugal, healthy (etc) stuff for a long time. And for many that is enough.
But for some ...

Re: Fixit Log
I’d check out library books and I would load them via usb with Calibre. No reason to connect to Amazon.
I havent done this in a couple of years. Maybe it no longer works with Overdrive and Adobe Digital Editions. Anyone doing this now?
This still works with Adobe DE. You can use the calibre ...

I'm also down and would also like to come a bit earlier (say Wednesday 23th). Looking at the flixbus schedule the best bus back for me would be 23:20 on Sunday 28th. I would arrive/leave from Bern.

Very inspiring post bos, thank you! A good reminder that when you do ERE right, you'll feel like a rich pimp while spending below poverty level. J&G would approve!

I've been reading a lot about Zen and Shin schools of Buddhism, Daoism, and Hinduism but I certainly wouldn't claim to be an expert on any of them! I really do just enjoy the change in perspective.

That sounds like a cool area to dip your toes into AE! You might not even need to learn *too much* physics. A friend of mine has a PhD in Quantum Cryptography and they don't actually know a lot about the intricate physical details. I worked through some lecture notes I found about quantum computing ...

Catched up on your Journal. Congrats on the savings rate! It seems like the money side of things has been sorted out. What’s the first thing that pops into your head when you say you’ll focus on other stuff?

I'm definitely interested in this, with a preference for the 27th (but available both dates). I can boulder, top rope and belay and would also enjoy going on day hikes!

If you turn your watch history off it cuts down on the distractions. The front page no longer shows anything other than a pleading message asking you to turn it back on again.
I can also hearthily recommend the Unhook extension ( firefox , chrome ), it can basically turn off everything you don ...

In some ways, you pay for open-source software with time, because its complexity, which continues to be a challenge. It’s steep to learn, and it kinda stays steep.

I would advise you to choose a random account name. You can set nicknames per server, see https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/219070107-Server-Nicknames. This way your login handle can be 'qwerty1337', your nickname in the ERE discord can be 'jacob' and your nickname in the Elite discord ...

ii) I *have* regretted many an evening of engaging in low quality online activities
iii) Habits are key. Practice good habits, unlearn the bad. See for example Atomic ...
