<t>Like Jacob has pointed out, a good honing strop (two, really: most people ruin the first getting used to it) and related honing/sharpening equipment can run you $150+ in setup alone, and requires a ton of practice to shave correctly. Even with brand new razors, you should send them off to be ...

<t>While I don't see the real appeal of a Kindle, myself, I know others on here like them; Target is closing them out and this week they're 30% off; if any are left, they're slated to go to 50% and finally 70% off, not that any will be left by then. Likewise, Walmart (urg) has been running the ...

<t>@Chicago81: I used to go through a $3.00 stick of deodorant a month throughout college, and it didn't tend to last throughout the day entirely. Since switching to Crystal deodorant, I'm still using my first stick, which I've been using for about six months now, and if my usage rate continues, I ...

<t>A good chunk of laptop cases allow for adding another stick of RAM, just sometimes, depending on the layout of the motherboard, you have to remove the keyboard. Beyond that, I don't know of many cases that allow for access to the CPU, aside from partial disassembly; with that said, I don't know ...

<t>Hoplite: Ah, well given that I was around fifteen at the time (almost eight years ago), and the fact that such information wasn't written on the exterior of the packaging, my mum was required to set it up under her SSN; she wasn't really pleased about that fact not being said up front, though ...

The last time I had a Green Dot card, I had to use my SSN to activate the card, this was a couple years ago, but it was something /not/ stated on the outside of the packaging. I don't know if that's changed now, but I don't like dishing out my SSN in general. :/

<r>Bigato: Though they'll most likely not be top-of-the-line by any stretch, go to flea markets and antique stores; depending on if it's not an overpriced tourist-trap, you can find almost new straight razors for about $15; sometimes new in box. Likewise, pawn stores can sometimes net you good ...
