Programming contest

Post by DutchGirl »

This weekend the NWERC (North West European Region Contest) programming competition is happening here in Delft. My boyfriend is one of the jury members and he helped to create the problems that need to be solved (that sounds a bit weird  ). There will be an online competition as well... http://2013.nwerc.eu/en/online-contest/

Free fun for programmers!

Put in politics and other eternal disagreements because I didn't know where else to put it; plus it only applies to a percentage of all ERE forum users.

Also let's discuss which programming language is the best one...

I deleted this posting in protest of how a fellow Internet entrepreneur (memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=5108) was abused by many people on this forum.

@fiby41, if you would have liked to participate in that contest, the yearly Google Code Jam is happening this weekend, see https://code.google.com/codejam/schedule.html.

Also, Piet (http://www.dangermouse.net/esoteric/piet.html) is obviously the best programming language. Not only is it based on a Dutch painter, it's also the only visual programming language I know. :D
