I had so much fun meeting up with Nords in Hawaii, that I'm inspired to reopen this thread.
I propose we get together in the U-district on Sunday, January 9th (after the holidays.) I can host at my place near the U-district farmers market, or we can meet at a coffee shop in the area
I'll get some food put together, and if others can bring their favorite ERE inspired potluck dishes that would round things out
I think that sounds great. Put me down for a tentative "yes"--I have a few business things on the horizon that may impede my ability to attend, but as of right now I would love to go.
I'd love to, but I'm restricted to weekdays between Dec 16 and 31st, where I could ride to work with my dad and get a bus ride over I-90. After that, I'm in school.
As much as I'd like to get all the seattle area people together, if we can get a date where at least three of us can agree on, can we call it good and keep in mind that we can always do another later?
With that in mind would Jan 30 work? I don't have any restrictions on place except that staying warmer is usually better for conversation
If anybody is available to join, we are having a Chinese New Year party Saturday night, February 4th at 7 pm.
My wife has been making traditional style dumplings almost non-stop for the past couple of days, and she is an amazing cook
Send me an email at mrjjac@gmail.com if you are interested, and I'll send you the location details
Alright...let's try this again! I chatted with Jacob about some possible options. I just purchased a bar in Seattle so I was thinking I could host--no pressure to buy anything at all, I promise. Just figured it'd be a nice inviting spot inside since it is a little chilly this time of year.
How about 2pm on Sunday February 27th?
Thoughts?
Definitely Thanks, Jacob.
tlaloc--20 beers on tap. So we should have you covered. Now let's just hope we can get a good group of Northwestern Seattlite Coffee Drinking Oatmeal-Colored-Wool-Sock-Wearing hippies together to talk about bucking the societal norms!
