Well, I've been in lockdown and not working for about 50 days. The main thing I've been able to do is starting mountain biking again and getting some fitness back and do some gardening. Finances have actually recovered during this time of economic inactivity due to the market bounce back and few opportunities to spend money.

Well unexpectedly early, my net worth has recovered to its previous peak.

18/02/2020 peak, 348k
15/03/2020 low, 314k
19/06/2020 new peak, 348k.

That's a recovery rate of over £10k a month...

With regard to things other than the numbers, I've been not working for 3 months now but during that time the pandemic has restricted travel to only the absolute essentials.
I've been cooking all my own food rather than any premade sandwiches at work and I've lost a few pounds, now at 181 pounds, just 3 pounds over normal weight. My gym membership is on hiatus but I dug out my old mountain bike and discovered the Strava app. Turns out that real cycling is much more fun.
I have made at start at gardening and the tomatoes/onions are doing well but ideally, I would like the entire garden to be a kind of forest garden/permaculture affair - however my knowledge is very limited at present.
I have been looking at places to visit besides the UK and Ireland, mainly the Med or South East Asia especially the Philippines. In particular I want to get out of the UK for the Winter period - which is fairly horrendous to me. The short days do nothing for my mood.
To enhance the travel experience and make it more immersive, I've been looking at learning a language. The front runner at the moment is Spanish, so I'm hoping to learn atleast a basic understanding of phrases before taking an extended or otherwise visit.
On a strategic note, I am still living on a tight budget at the moment hoping for my investment returns to kick into runaway accumulation mode ;)

How do you get the precise and regular home valuations, going up by £1k every month or so?
