A little hack to get a cheaper phone plan
Set up a pay number (or call a number via existing programs mentioned below = more expensive & only for BE/NL)
and retrieve part of the money paid for a prepaid card

1. Buy a prepaid card with a free data plan.
E.g. 15E prepaid card = about 150 call minutes + freebies = XGB data + XX sms + [XXX SMS & XXX min. to same provider numbers (family & friends)]
2. I only use up free data plan, so I'm left with ~15E in my account
3. Register account at:
- Netherlands: https://www.thoorn.nl/ (update: changed to payment in bitcoins, due to legal issues)
- Belgium: http://www.betaallijn.be/ (bank payment + possibility to be paid in bitcoins)
- Or set up a pay line for yourself or your own country
4. Receive > 1/2 of your money back depending on the chosen method
5. Rinse & repeat (monthly for me, seen the free data plan in my country is only valid for 1 month)

Eh?

A pay per minute phone line (cfr erotic and the like advice lines). Anybody can rent such a number
You could set up the same platform as the mentioned websites in BE & NL for public use and earn some extra money with it.
Or use the phone line only for retrieving your personal prepaid card money.

Interesting, but not that beneficial, is it? My phone plan is 9 € so I would only save 2 € and I would have to buy a new card every month.

If you use google hangouts you can make calls for free over wifi.
