Hey everyone. I'm new here and pretty late to the party, I guess. I hope to catch you guys in the next meetup. Many thanks to the organisers for making this happen.

Hi all
I would like to meet likeminded people like you guys! Is there a new meet-up arround the corner?
I am 28 years old and have a master's degree in mathematics and economy. I have worked full time for almost 4 years saving >75% of my income and now I am very close to FI.

Hej everybody,
I am a 30 year old engineer living in Cph. I am still figuring out how many years I will need to become finantially independent, 15 is what I aim for.
In my experience, ERE is a topic people do not take seriously so I am looking forward to meeting like minded people.
Joakimk, I will send you a pm right now!

Did you receive the links and info we've sent you? You're not reading your PMs so...

Check your spam folder then. I've tried inviting you to our personal forum twice.

Eh.. there's either email (outside the forum) or PM. PM's are indicated by a red circle with a number in it in the top left of the screen. There's no spam folder/control for PM's (however, new users with 0 posts are not allowed to send them for obvious reasons).

:)
Thank you.
We've got it covered. There IS communication via email, other forums AND PM's going on at the same time. I understand your confusion :D

There is another Copenhagen meetup on Sunday 4 November at 14.00.

In fact we are a cool group of dedicated EREs who meet every couple of months in each others homes in the greater Copenhagen area. At a typical meetup, we are between 8 and 12 people. Some are very regular and some have only shown up once (after which they did disapear into eternity).

Topic for the upcoming meetup: lifehacks.

PM me for details if relevant.

Hi Eureka!
I would like to join on Sunday, if possible :) I live in Frederiksberg, am 37 years old, and I am an engineer. Is there anything that I need to prepare before the meetup? I am all new to this, so I would be really happy to meet like minded people and hear your experiences/advice in achieving financial independence.

Hi jay-p, great that you found us! That makes us 10 for the meetup.
I will send you my address in a pm.

Part of the agenda at this meetup is that everybody will contribute with 10 minutes of whatever they want to share or discuss. I suppose (from knowing the people who will attend) that there will be topics along the lines of crypto currencies, buying a foreclosure property, permaculture, travel hacks, starting your own business, sustainable community building etc. Thus, if you have some topic you'd either like to share with us or ask questions about or have everyone discuss then you are most welcome to do so. And if this is all too new and overwhelming to you, you are also welcome to just be present and absorb what is going on.

Looking forward to meeting you tomorrow.
