@stoneage: Don't forget "Pretty" and "Young", also "Pale" if you are considering world market. They have to keep the "Fair and Lovely" cream behind the counter in the markets in my neighborhood. Earlier this morning, a middle-aged female British friend and I were discussing the economic implications of Brexit on the housing and aesthetic procedures markets in London, Detroit and Dubai. My practice is that if any man who is currently my lover complains more than once about anything about my appearance, then he has to provide financial and/or practical assistance in that specific realm if he wishes to continue to enjoy the pleasure of my company. Not everybody condones this practice, but I find it to be a great improvement over my previous youthful practice of "suffer and express hurt feelings" or my earlier mid-life practice of "offer tit-for-tat retort regarding realms in which he may be lacking."

Complex Adaptive Systems:

1. Initial Conditions

2. An Established Set of Cause-Effect Relationships (i.e., not just correlations)

3. Magnitude/Significance of particular Effects/Events

Note that the one you are missing is often dependent upon whether the event is past, present or future.

Houses, given a minimum number of rooms and a max budget: good condition, good location, decent yard/lot size

Those are the three that are important to me anyway. Currently favoring condition (don't have any major repair skills) and yard size (want to do a lot of gardening and other fun yard stuff).

Pretty sure if you're excitedly fucking someone, and only that person, they're/you're probably gonna get pregnant eventually.

At which point you can go the Warren Jeffs route, and forego the monogamy.

Clothes: functionality, fashion, cost.

I'll take functionality and cost almost every day.
