IQ Test

My result - 128 {You are smarter than 95% of the population}. DW got 130 .

Curious what are your results? Just for fun. :)

Edit - If you'd like a more in depth test, this one looks good. It looks like you have to pay for the result at the end, but you don't. They email it. I got 123 on this one.

128

There was one pattern test I just couldn't see any difference.

132. Funny, I found the word ones harder than the patterns.

It seemed very limited.

132. Yeah, I can talk myself out of the right answer with the word ones. Though, I still don't know what pattern the differently arranged "7's" were showing.

There wasn't a pattern. One of them was backwards and the others were not (the second one, the one that was upside down).

I believe one was reversed. (Now I screwed up the whole test). ;-)

134.

I question how accurate it is, since that's 10-15 pts less than I've gotten on more comprehensive tests.

132. I'll put in another vote for that being an inaccurate test. I have never been officially tested, but I am fairly sure that I am not in the top 2%, haha.

Yea its just a 'for fun' test. I'm not an IQ test expert, but the more interactive/short ones are probably less accurate. I linked a more detailed one in the OP.

I think that's as high as it goes. I don't think I missed any.

One of these:
1: all people here are extremely smart
2: people with a lower score don't dare to post it
3: the test is inaccurate

I don't dare to try it, afraid for the result

I think its a combination of 1 & 3 actually. I just re-took the test and purposely answered each question wrong yet my score was 104!

So I get an A for effort. :|

132- One of the number patterns threw me off. Probably because I ate a donut this morning.

132, I would have thought that was the top end of the test, as they all seemed easy, and I had no doubts. But we have a 134 result in just our small group.

Apparently, I was both wrong, and confident in my wrong answer, and that seems to be a bit of a pattern in itself...

When I was younger, I thought my ability to test well was proof of how smart I was. A bit if time in the real world, where the answers are not multiple choice, showed me the error of this assumption.

Still, a fun little test.

142 on the more in depth test.
I think most online tests are skewed a bit high to give everyone an "I'm above average!" feel-good.

Jacob will probably break their web site.

I got 156 once on that second test, but I was pretty sloshed on homemade blackberry wine and I think that helped me.

At least I thought so at the time.

I ended up with 132 on the quick one and 140 on the more in-depth IQ test. I'm also doubting that any short online test can be an accurate form of measuring IQ . The second test also seemed to lack visual pattern matching questions, which usually seems to be my downfall .
