In Geoff's video on Greening the Desert (youtube it) he says:

Some powerful stuff there.

If you ask me, I would say permaculture is a major road to ERE.

In the "How well do you understand ERE?" thread, JasonR called ERE "personal permaculture." I thought that was a great description.
