Where is the market at?

Post by Chad »

Nice write up on where we are at. I'm still looking for the crazy or the historical "shoe shiner stock tip" to signal more of top.

Laughed at the "CAPE is dead!1!" comment. Had they actually read the article(s) in question, they'd realize the argument(s) suggest that CAPE might make the market look a little more expensive than it really is - not that it is dead.

These are the kinds of considerations that make me nervous, but I've decided to go with conventional wisdom about not timing the market. We'll just have to see what happens.

This is kind of what I'm talking about when I say "shoe shiner" comment.

I kind of follow his rules for this. It has to be a non-business publication for it to signal anything of merit. These are other examples.
