I think almost everyone here could get a smile, if not more out of this book. It was published in the 70's by a girl living with her father describing how they live with virtually no money. While there are things that won't apeal to most there are some good suggestions. I recently found a website:

but it seems to be aimed at selling the book. Get it from the library, mine didn't have it but was able to borrow from another library system. It'll take 2 days or less to read and the largest chapters are about how to make wine and liquor.
