OK--I never said I was brilliant. So how do you stay signed in the forum, whilst surfing back and forth to other sites?

What am I missing?

In some sites there is a "keep me signed in" box.

Anyone know what to do to effect this?

OK--correction.
It is only when I use "bookmarks" to slide to another site that I log out. If I minimize and use search, I stay logged in.

Hi HSpencer, usually this "keep me signed in" functionality is working with cookies. If your browser is set to have those removed every time you close your browser window or that it doesn't need to save those, then the functionality won't work.
