Not really a question, but I didn't know where else to put it.

What's everyone's average daily routine?
Mine's not much for reading. I started writing it as specific times, but I realised that doesn't suit very well because there is a lot of variation so I've just went with Monday. On other days the times I come home, and the times I'm at school vary.
01:00 - Alarm goes off, wake up, turn it off quickly. Go on laptop or fail and fall back asleep for ~an hour. Eat food (I have a food diary it varies a lot) between now and 08:40.
08:40 - Go for a shower, and get dressed.
09:30 - Walk to school.
09:45 - Start school.
12:30 - Leave school and come home, go on laptop, have lunch at some point.
14:00 - Start back at school.
14:50 - Go home.
15:05 - Get home. Go on laptop.
17:30 - Have dinner (normally).
18:00 - Go to sleep.
Best routine ever. So what about everyone else?

17.40 back from work, cook
18.00 eat
18.30 relax (surf internet, watch tv, chat with BF)
23.00 go to bed

@RMcD94
You go to sleep at 6pm and wake up at 1am, and then spend 1am - 8:40am on your laptop?
Am I reading that wrong?
My schedule is almost exactly the same as DutchGirl, except I sleep in an extra 35 minutes, and then go to work 15 minutes after I wake up.

Mine sucks.
6:20 - Alarm goes off. It's early morning. I hate myself.
6:55 - Leave my apartment and catch the bus. Hopefully I can catch a nap on the bus.
7:25 - Arrive to work. My job sucks. It's going to be a long day.
12:00-1:00 - Eat lunch. Ramen noodle bonanza. I gag it down.
6:00 - Clock out. Sweet release. Catch the bus 5 minutes later.
6:30 - Arrive home. Back in the castle. I'm happy.
7:00 - Go to gym in apartment complex (free).
7:45 - Come back home. Eat dinner (PB&J sandwiches, usually).
9:45 - Take a warm shower after spending a couple hours online blogging and spending time here.
10:30 - Sleep. I dream of ERE.

On weekdays:
07:00 | Wake up, shower, shave, prepare food for work
07:40 | Head into work
08:20 | Arrive at work
11:30 | Lunch at desk
19:20 | Leave work
20:00 | Arrive home; dinner; movies/TV
22:00 | Reading
23:30 | Sleep
Not too exciting. Sometimes I leave work a little earlier, other times I leave later (between 18:30-20:30).
Wednesday/Thursday/Friday nights I usually stay up later since the weekend is in sight.

Why are you up at night?
I wake up early so I can talk to people (mainly USAmericans), who otherwise I'd have less time to talk to.
You go to sleep at 6pm and wake up at 1am, and then spend 1am - 8:40am on your laptop?
At the weekend or a non-school day, I wake up and go my laptop then sleep.

This was today, the time I go to school varies every day, but it's a very typical Thursday.

06:30 - water garden, mow lawn, edge lawn
07:30 - clean up after breakfast, clean kitchen
08:00 - take shower, get dressed, change baby
08:30 - check ebay, craigslist, etsy, amazon, to see if I have any orders that need to be filled and get them ready
09:00 - I leave for school and put packages in mailbox
11:00 - Arrive home from school, nurse baby
11:15 - Cook lunch, chat with Hubbie, eat and clean up
12:00 - start on physics and math studies.
13:00 - get a headache and decide to take a break.

Mine varies. My "normal working day" routine:
08:00 - wake up (often closer to 8:20 after snooze button abuse).
09:00 - start work
17:30 - finish work
18:00 - gym on gym days, get home on other days, then shower and 10-15 minutes power-nap / meditation / lying down doing nothing in an attempt to relax a bit.
19:00 - dinner
Rest of the evening: doing something social and/or working on hobbies (guitar, language learning) and/or reading and/or miscellaneous things that need done. I think of this as my "productivity time"
23:00/00:00: bed.
Normal weekend day: wake up between 10:00 and 13:00, do "productivity time" stuff during the day, plenty cooking and eating, have a nap at some point, then go out in town at night unless I'm too tired, which unfortunately happens a lot since I don't always sleep well during the week...

During the week
4:30 wake
5:45 at work
2:00 leave work
2:30 gym (not ERE but I like the energy at a gym)
4:00 dinner and whatever I DVR'd
5:00 write for an hour or so
7:00/7:30 read for an hour
8:00/8:30 bed
On the weekend it changes all the time depending on what I'm doing

i am terrible at keeping to a regular schedule because i work for myself; typically,
6:30am wake, coffee
7am (barefoot) run/swim/natural movement
7:25am shower, breakfast
8am play piano
9:15am work (at home/on campus/at park/at café--seated)
2:30pm lunch
3pm work
4:45pm play drums
6:45pm make and eat dinner
8pm read, chat, chill, watch a movie
10pm sleep
trying to transition to
5:40am wake, barefoot run to zen center
6am meditate
7am barefoot run to music studio
7:30am play piano
9am barefoot run home
9:20am shower and breakfast
10am work (standing)
4pm lunch
4:40pm barefoot run to music studio
5pm play drums
6:30pm barefoot run home
6:45pm prepare and eat dinner
8pm read, relax, visit
8:45pm sleep
good luck to me with that! it would mean 9.5 miles of barefoot running every weekday, which i'd replace with swimming on the weekend and supplement with bodyweight exercises during breaks in the workday (squats, jumping, mounting horizontal branches, army crawl, &c.).

I don't have much of a routine. We're camping out at some hippy hot springs in California right now, so this was yesterday's approximate schedule.
6:30 Wake up freezing cold, get dressed, walk to area with wifi
7:00 Start work
9:00 DH is up and brings me some breakfast, afterward he sets up his laptop next to me and we chat occasionally
1:00 Lunch with friends and some other folks outside
1:30 Back to work
3:00 Done with work. Walk to the hot springs, float around, lay in the sun
5:00 Nap and cow watching with DH
7:00 Cook and eat dinner
8:30 Walking around the campground, some chatting with people
11ish Crawl into the back of the truck and go to sleep
Next week I have a business trip then the week after that I'll be living on a farm, so it varies a lot.

@Zev
There is no question I need to add more physical exercise to my routine, but man -- just reading your aspriational daily routine makes me tired.
How are you able to transition between so many activities? I find that when I don't complete a project, I inevitably carry thoughts about it into my next activity unless I make a conscious effort not to do so. At least for me, multi-tasking is an impossibility. I tend to sequester a big chunk in the late morning for one thing and another in the later afternoon for a second. Anything less than critically urgent gets pushed to the next day to be triaged anew.

@Maus: LOL, I know what you mean... Look at all those things, makes me tired as well. I'm happy with breaking the day into 3 chunks/tasks.
I hate setting time aside for exercise as well. Something that works great is mandatory trigger points... IE: you do this, you cross this, then do this exercise.
Whenever I hit a certain alley in town, I sprint 100m. Whenever, I go into bedroom I do some pullups (not past evening)... I don't do those things too often, but I also don't actively think about, or dread them.

@Maus I'll let you know if/how I'm able to make these transitions successfully. My hope is that the bookending my day with music will make my work life more bearable...

With some variation on the weekends. Most weekday 'routine' looks like this:
- 6:30 a.m. Wake up, make ginger tea, read morning newspaper, yahoo finance, some financial blogs, play with cat, make & eat breakfast (3 eggs + broccoli/peppers/mushrooms/spinach etc), pack lunch for work
- 8:30/9:00 : Leave for work
- 12/12:30 : lunch at desk while working
- 6 p.m. : reach home, ginger tea, tennis with friend and then some weights/cardio/ evening walk (alternate days)
- 8:30 p.m. : Light Dinner, glass of wine, dessert, conversation
- 9:30 - 12 : Reading/Investment Planning/Conversation/Vacation Planning/Netflix movie etc.
