#31 - Embrace Poverty Now! The Smartest Financial Decision You'll Ever Make

Nothing earth shattering here, just a fun discussion; I suppose the "hot take" is just that the only good "financial" decisions we really make are to spend as far below what we earn as we can, and to try and do the best we can with the surplus, knowing that most of those surplus decisions are going to be driven more by lifestyle choices (e.g., whether to rent or buy a home) and/or luck and timing.

God, that was painful to listen to. I made it 14:30 in before I couldn't take their rambling any longer.

There are sooooo many good podcasts/podcasters out there that it's hard to believe why anyone would put themselves through that sort of torture.

Funny, my wife says something similar whenever she is forced to listen to a Scott Hambrick podcast with me on a road trip; I feel the same about her true crime podcasts. What can I say, I'm a sucker for Hambrick playing color commentator to a SME, regardless the subject matter: accounting/small business finances https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/s ... 1705140552; strength training https://barbell-logic.com/catching-up-w ... ck-part-1/; music https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/m ... 1500358614; great books https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/o ... 1375330490; or homesteading/permaculture https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/g ... 1619817801.
