Wow, I had forgotten about that book. I had the 1980 version and read through it many times. It was like a map to the future. Thanks for the link.

For those of us barely old enough to remember the era, it's interesting to consider how this movement disintegrated when energy prices went down in the 80s, and "The Big Chill" transformed the swarms of teenagers who hung out in the park smoking pot in the trees or teaching the younger kids like me how to make tie-dye or dip candles or apple-head dolls, into Mortgage Brokers and Podiatrists. Bicentennial Year Girl Scout Camp in 1976 with the long-haired, easy-going hippie Boomer teens as counselors was about as much fun as a suburban 10 year old could ever have.
