A UK company, whose stock I bought many years ago, has been acquired by a US corporation which has been split into several companies quoted on NYSE. I now receive dividend payments through the mail of around $20 to $40 each time. I would like to be able to pay them into a US$ account and save the cash and spend it when we visit the US.
I had a US$ account with Citibank in London, however, they have one branch miles from where I live and they require deposits to be made in-person, which is inefficient.
Is there a way I can have the stock registrars pay the dividends into an online account in the US? Any recommendations please?
The amounts are small so I'm not really concerned about taxation.

I believe HSBC can set up an online US based account for you.

Thanks, @chenda. I have an HSBC Premier account, so I'll ask them. I didn't find anything from trawling their website.
