That is, what does the knot look like?
Construct-awareness is very likely to be a honeypot.

Ha, yeah, then again it seems as though once you have tried the honey, you only get sucked into it quicker by either completely ignoring or completely embracing all that the honey touches. Sticky stuff!

With potential isomorphisms between various Agent versions with different normalizations. Like the version on top in this drawing sticking to a rectangular structure and map but opting for a smooth agent curve [likely represented in polar form] with an internal area normalized at 1.

Here is a basic type holarchy where cognitive functions (aka punctuations) are considered to construct cognitive axes (aka mirrors) which construct quadras (aka gradient pairs). Punctuations being like half a trade; mirrors being like.. well.. mirrors between the inside and outside; and gradients being like two landscapes of hills and valleys layered upon each other(*). For instance, A or TiFeSiNe could be thought to be on perception and judgement hills with internal valleys in both landscapes (what is labelled as valley or hill is arbitrary). By varying the magnitude of each punctuation, the gradient will shift though still remain within a quadrant (i.e. A, B, C, D) unless flow is reversed/inverted.

(*) Being a holographic agent implies you are never at a single point in these landscapes but rather a closed loop of an infinite number of points in each landscape.

Also wondering if the magnitude of punctuations/functions could be bounded and potentially quantized though consideration of which feedbacks or neurochemical circuits are activated simultaneously. Perhaps quadrants align with a given [spinal] chain of feedback cycles where each of the four types has a different frequency distribution along their spine with respect to their quadrant chain.

Visualization of quadrants, which are four different combinations of perceptual and judgemental gradients. Perhaps phases would be a better descriptor than hills and valleys (i.e. black and clear regions). Though, whether the phases are more like (-1,1), (1,0) or (i, 1) is up for inspection.

The spotlight paradigm of consciousness is in opposition to the holographic paradigm of consciousness (unless taken to limit). With the spotlight shining light on a continuous segment of a tape, and with the holograph shining a discontinuous light of infinite granularity/resolution across the entire tape(*). The truth seems to be somewhere in-between, where the brain is holographic to some extent(+) as well as there being various circuits or synergistic brain nets that correspond with various sized spotlights.

(*) with shadows existing on equal footing.

(+) that is, perhaps there are holes in the tape or knots that implicate tangles.

Here are some examples of extreme contractions and expansions that can occur from neglect [or deliberate ignorance] of the subtle realm (which would tend to counteract or falsify gross realizations). The number of external edges in the case of an extreme contraction will tend to increase, and the number of external edges in the case of an extreme expansion will tend to decrease. In another sense, contraction increases the granularity of deduction and expansion decreases the granularity of induction. Induction reaching further and deduction reaching wider.

The arrows for the contractions can be drawn but it would have been a tight fit so I excluded.

Ti-Fe or imef = internalize maps and externalize frames:

Si-Ne or isep = internalize structures and externalize points:

Ignoring the subtleties may be strategically advantageous in a low risk situation where you are less likely to be blindsided into ruin. Extreme contraction works great for scattered physical tasks like cleaning and cooking, and extreme expansion works great as a way to glimpse beyond immediate physicality.

The distances apparent from drawings will remain relative to the story told about them as the absolute is tied up in topology, not measurement. Otherwise, who is to say that their subjective state of a distance or measurement is more pure than another? An indefinite problem with only some possibility at redemption amongst metasystemic+ thinkers(*) (in MHC or the model of hierarchical complexity). This will be forever niche as a metaphysical compass co-developed with a meaty scaffolding (e.g. a dense and long history book if I ever get around to it).

(*) I would greatly appreciate push back on this. Perhaps these structures can be flattened for a more general audience? Though, how do you flatten flat tiles interlinked with stories?

Perhaps I am thinking about this all wrong. With the four factor model from The Listening Society, MHC levels may hint at how a system or paradigm will be flattened upon gaining popularity through a "cool" code. Metaphysical compasses co-developed with ironic yet sincere narratives of the past could link up code to better state control that could in turn generate agent depth. Gortz on the Jim Rutt show made a good point about how too much flattening of systems or paradigms can be a counter force towards a metamodern world which is more likely to emerge as a boring conspiracy than a populous vote (I'm paraphrasing).
