Finding ERE minded people in real life: proxies / correlates / heuristics
ERE is so eclectic, do you find ways of finding ERE minded people in real life? Has this been asked before?

I find it pretty easy to find Artist Bohemian or Eternal Grad Student or Gardener Hippie types who live pretty well by being creative on low income/low spending. I also find it quite easy to find Millionaire or Semi-Millionaire Next Door types who have modest middle class lifestyle and relatively large savings/investments/income. I also find it quite easy to find variety of humans with a lot of DIY or other useful skills. Finding humans with 2 of these 3 is also possible. For instance, Midwestern Engineers over Age 50 are pretty frequently in 2 and 3. Finding humans in intersection of all 3 is much more difficult.

Meeting people on the forum and then working out ways to meet those actual people in meatspace has been working well for me (there's a forumite in my kitchen right now, and I just got off a call with another arranging a live/work deal for the fall...)

By which standard (decoupling, financial independence, renaissance vs specialist, low consumption)?

@DoF, along the lines of @7w5. It's pretty easy to find people with some elements that are Ere-like, but a combo of a few things is hard to spot. Maybe this is the way to go and also a point for having a community of people around, that everyone has a bit of something that is cool. Then on the other hand it is really a great feeling to be talking with someone who is on the same page in many ways.
Meeting forum people off the forum is one way for sure.
Or persuasion by reason, what @jacob does with his endeavours I'd think.
