Liveable v lovable
An opinion piece that may be of interest to those thinking of moving to another city as part of their ERE journey.
From the comments: don't go near Geneva.
It makes the point that the cities that regular sit at the top of "best city" lists aren't necessarily the best places to live but they do tend to be expensive places to live.
I've been to a few European cities: Copenhagen, Bremen, Malaga, Boulogne, Carvin. They were all nice, but I love my London!

orinoco,
Thanks for the link; agreed that some of the "best places" seem to be designed by a committee from a menu of choices (friends from Geneva also agree on that assessment). I love my Manhattan, but London is a wonderful city!
