I have some good news, which is that I finally got awarded some of the non-means-tested disability benefits I applied for at appeal. It's around £4000 a year and I get back payment from when I first applied to it, so even though the yearly amount isn't enough by itself to cover my projected budget, at least it takes a bit of pressure off me in finding another source of income imminently, which is good since whatever job or self-employed thing I get needs to be compatible with my disabilities.
