@hickchick "I hope the "chick" part is a give away."
Sure is. What a colorful bunch we are. An astrophysicist, a monk, a sex worker, some lawyers, etc... and now poultry!
@chilly - I know what you mean. The time I found someone who would actually live with me in my RV - wow! Too bad we had to get the idea of moving to Hawaii which made us crash and burn.
Hey, maybe we could start the next thread about what it's like to actually FIND a partner who is on the same page if you're like @chilly - looking for love in all the wrong places? Most women who are sizing up a potential partner attempt to figure out how much money a guy has by speculating how much they spent for their shoes...
Or how to get one's significant other on board with the plan?
age: 57 female - and have been living this way all my life already.
@ chilly: just curious, what if the woman can afford her own diamond, restaurant tab and plane tickets?
28 and this random photo from iStock on my avatar eerily looks like me.
@Bytta, if she can afford her own diamonds while being able to pickup both of our tabs and plane tickets (so I don't have to stay home, or worse - keep working) - then I promise to pay for one diamond and one honeymoon. I have a good inkling what my 2 months salary will be in a year or two, so ladies - you may want to act fast.
Female who thinks like a male (according to dear old Dad..) which is why I can't "keep" a husband. Men need to be needed and I'm not needy enough, apparently. Damned competent women. I am 43, look 33, and act 23. I have one adorable, smart, Lego-minded, future mechanical engineer son - 5. Product of hot but lazy ex-husband #3. Husband #4 will certainly be a like minded ERE/survivalist/minimalist/frugal living (hot) dude. And yes, there will be a #4. I can't help myself, and either can they.
@Jacob -- not a surprise to see that 60% of readers are women, but seems like some had a different perception, based on the OP's original question: "Are there any females here? (The participation seems predominantly male.)"
