Report:

The meetup was successful. LiquidSapphire, Chris, and I were in attendance. We met at the hostel and then walked through Central Park and Times Square. We ate dinner at a Japanese curry restaurant and then visited Bryant Park, the outside of the U.N. building, and Grand Central Station.
Topics of conversation included the ERE forum, motivations for ERE, my career plans, Chris's volunteering, folding bikes, PP, the watching of movies, and places for LS to see in New York.

Thanks Chris...I got home about forty minutes ago after a long day of opening walls and fixing pipes. This day has me thinking though my strategy for ER may not be what I want. A gorgeous day, wife and daughter out and about. Potential friends strolling, and me covered in dirt and grime watching the day go by...Glad you guys had fun though.

It was great; thanks for spending the day with me BeyondTheWrap and Chris! Apparently we missed a last minute lurker who was at the hostel at 2:45pm, so maybe he can join in next time. I'm doing the tourist thing in Manhattan so if anyone wants to grab a coffee or bite let me know. I'm leaving Saturday morning.
