Thank you so much Biscuits and Gravy!! Those are precious words to offer. I will keep it up for sure... ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-

March 2025 expenses:

I did exactly like last month (at a couple of dollars near), which is so surprising. I was expecting this month to be way more expensive since I went to the restaurant many times (a colleague leaving, a friend enjoying restaurant outside for the first time since a surgery, etc.). I guess I only did that.

March 2025 considerations

I am looking forward to eating more at home in April, I feel a bit tired of restaurant. I like cooking healthy meals for myself. At least, I nailed the exercise part. I added running to my exercising routine, and I think I did more than 160 km this month. Additionally, I am learning to kick butts in a kickboxing class, it feels amazing. I've also been drawing a lot, Last week I made an illustration that I am very happy with. Overall, it was a great month.

April 2025 expenses:

I saved 40% of my income this month. It might be related to this little travel expense that I took 8-)

I will go visit a faraway country with my family sometimes later this year. I am excited to create new memories with them while exploring exotic places. I am not much into tourism, but I really enjoy spending time with my family, and this sounds like an exciting way to spend time with everyone.

April considerations:

It was a month centered around friends! I did a lot of activities with various groups of friends: costumed parties, board game nights, sight-seeing, visiting exhibits and sports. It was amazing! I feel so lucky to be well surrounded and to have such great friends in my life. I also feel a bit socially tired, but nothing too dramatic. I will take a weekend off and I should be good to go :D

May 2025 expenses:

I saved 70% of my income this month, which is perfect :D

May considerations:

I did a lot of dog sitting this month. I came out of this experiment with the conviction that I will never be a dog owner. I found it very stressful (is the dog alright, does it have enough food, is it happy, does it need longer/shorter walks, why is it looking at me all the time, etc.) and I didn't like the fact that the dog could not accompany me in daily activities, so I always had to do separate activities with it. It was nonetheless a fun experiment, and I would be willing to repeat it maybe once every 2 years. Besides dog sitting, I did a lot of writing. I am looking forward to June, because I want to write some more and I love doing it outside, it's such a beautiful summer activity.

Well done on the savings rate! The snowball starts slowly at first but it gets exciting as momentum builds and compounding starts to work in our favor.
