Yes, it's also interesting to note that in the 40 years since Golden Girls aired in 1985, even though it was somewhat edgy for its time, women in their 50s are no longer considered to be quite that old. My current situation is fairly Golden Girls since even though I am only living with my mother, other family members frequently stop by or stay overnight in the extra room, and there are obviously also many other humans loitering about in the senior community. And I will be spending a good deal of time hanging out with my sisters up north this summer since my closest sister and her husband bought a 5000 sq. ft. church just a few blocks from the beach and National Forest. If I decide to do online dating again, it will probably be out of that zip code.

Residential conversion, but my closest sister and her husband are both musicians, so there will also be a performance space, and possibly some sort of enterprise out of the commercial kitchen and/or air-bnb /hostel, and headquarters storage for flea market endeavor, etc. I want to have all my camping supplies organized to fit on an e-trike or similar, so I can venture out from their base. If I decide to buy some land again, it will be a few miles inland from there in agricultural area. However, I also plan on maintaining a base in my hometown university-city beyond my stay with my mother. Possibly a tiny house in my daughter's backyard or less expensive senior apartment or some other communal arrangement. I really don't have space for a full-time live-in relationship with a man in my plans.
