Messages Stuck In Outbox?

Hey, question for Jacob or anyone in the know.

I tried sending a PM today and it's stuck in my Outbox, I also notice a PM response to someone from October '24 that's also stuck there.

Is there a rhyme or reason to why outbound PM's wouldn't go out and just sit in the "Outbox" folder?

From my understanding, messages stay in outbox until they are received (read). They’ll also stay in your outbox if the user has a full inbox. They’ll need to delete some messages in their inbox to receive it.

If someone doesn’t log in and/or have email notifications on, they will have no idea you sent a message until they log back on.

Thanks! That is an interesting way to set things up. But I guess without read receipts it's the best way to know if your recipient at least read the message. I just assumed it was stuck in purgatory and not delivered at all.
