Social Security contributions as income?
Re: Social Security contributions as income?
I don't mitigate the risk of oversaving. I try to do at least some of things I want to do in early retirement now. The things I want to do are close to home anyways. I accept I will likely leave a large inheritance unless TEOTWAWKI happens. I might reevaluate if I stop enjoying my job, or when this job ends (the doomsday clock is certainly ticking away at my employer in the next few years).

I feel like the steward of the thread but it’s grown super large so I will respond on weekend because I need time to read it.

Kicking the can down the road on a thread about social security because demand has become unmanageable. Sounds about right.guitarplayer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 10:32 amI feel like the steward of the thread but it’s grown super large so I will respond on weekend because I need time to read it.
