Can it be a bit higher? 30?
Maybe with banning attachments in PM, to avoid server load.
BTW, I tend to steer conversation to more synchronous communicator, but not always the other party is interested.
Any good privacy app chat? Telegram and Signal are jokes.

Re: Private messages limit
I increased it to 30. PM attachments are already banned.
Re: Private messages limit
You can also create new inbox folders. There are settings that allow you to direct messages towards them once your original inbox is full. They have the same limit as the original.

Re: Private messages limit
This reminded me - I had some PMs from bigato but when he left the forum I couldn't see them any more but they still took up space in my inbox, but there was no way for me to delete them. So I don't know if it's possible to fix that somehow. Either way the expanded PM box is helpful.

Are you somehow connected to them?Chris wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 9:40 amSession. Encrypted, onion-routed, no registration, no phone number required.
Why this shared key is so "nerdy"? Yes, prolly privacy issues.
How about adding ability to use some rememberable handle?
Re: Private messages limit
It's a project I follow.
Having a key as a username has benefits, but is not human-friendly. You can buy the username of your choice and map it to your unique key. Current price: $4. This is part of how the team plans to monetize the project.

Re: Private messages limit
Signal is very good, and compares favorably. But it does require a phone number to use, so it's not completely anonymous.
