Weekly Walk and Talk, Tucson AZ

I have an IRL friend that I meet every Monday to discuss (mostly) ERE-type things. We are opening it up for others to join us.

When: Mondays, 5pm
Where: Reid Park, meet at the intersection of Randolph Way and Camino Campestre, by the stop sign and yellow bike docking station.
What: Walk around the park and talk about stuff nobody else finds interesting! We typically wander around the interior of the park, because walking next to the streets sucks for talking.

We've been pretty consistently doing this for months now, but people do get sick/have other stuff come up, so feel free to message me and we can set up some group text or email chain or something to verify that others will be there.

Just 2 yesterday, no walk Dec 5th unless someone messages me.

The rest of December's walks are cancelled due to everyone (all 2 of us) having other plans. We plan to resume Jan 2.

The weekly walk and talk has been moved to Tuesdays, 5:20 P.M.

Ah, bummer guys - I was in Tucson back in December but I didn't see this thread. I'll check in next time I'm in the area.

This week there is a change of plans.

When: Tuesday, February 7th; 5:30 p.m. meetup, music starts at 6
Where: Rockabilly Grill, 3700 N Oracle Rd
What: Meetup with other folks interested in personal finance. Enjoy live music. Let's go nuts and buy a second beer if we're having a good time.

We moved it indoors this week then it didn't end up raining. Was worth it--we can do cold, but cold and rainy? Not worth taking a chance.

No walk this week. No joiners from the MMM forum last couple weeks. Going to try the local ChooseFI Facebook group next to expand my local frugal circle.

Meetup canceled for the next two weeks. Will resume activities March 21.
