Something like xfig on chrome?
As astute readers of the ERE book might have noticed, I'm a fan of xfig for making illustrations. Does a similar thing exist on chrome?
It's important that it's free or at least super cheap and the learning curve to make up an x-y graph is less than 5 minutes.

That's what I'm currently doing. Not really looking for hacks.

Re: Something like xfig on chrome?
I'm semi-familiar with inkscape. xfig is simpler than that.
Re: Something like xfig on chrome?
I still don't get what kind of problem you want to solve/optimize.
Did you switch to chromebook and can only use apps from extension store?
Do you want to be able to draw simple things during MMG zoom meetings? But what's the diffrence sharing desktop xfig screen or xfig online screen?
Most extensions for chrome will be just GUI for online drawing services (you save 10 clicks during creation of some drawings).

Re: Something like xfig on chrome?
I want xfig capability on a chromebook w/o having to install workarounds or engaging in a long learning curve. I'm looking for an xfig-like app on chrome.
Re: Something like xfig on chrome?
It's possible to "unchromebook" given laptop and install linux/windows on it. Yes, it's rather PITA activity, but maybe you have some computer whiz around?
Re: Something like xfig on chrome?
Boxy? Vectr? Inkr?
Re: Something like xfig on chrome?
Is turning on the Linux container an option?

I was able to run visual studio code on a Chromebook with 4 gigs of ram. I was able to interface with github codespaces, which proved networking, GUI integration, storage persistence, etc. I didn't use it extensively, but it seemed to work well.
I know there are constraints by chromebook model. The feature may not be available to you.
