I am afraid I overbooked myself with family and friends visits until I am leaving next week, having only the Saturday free as a result.

Yes, the south shore sounds good. I am in Chateauguay.
Any place in mind ? I don't now the good places anymore.

Great idea. I'd suggest Récréo-Parc, in Sainte-Catherine, it's close, it's nice and there's the river right along it. The parking costs $, but you can park in the streets outside of it for free, we can meet outside, and we can walk into the park for free. If that's fine for you, I'd suggest 1PM, meeting at the bridge/locks (i.e. corner Promenade du Pont-Levant and Marie-Victorin). What do you say?

Would anyone be interested in a Montreal meetup this summer ? I don't have a car, so for me, it would have to be somewhere within the island, somewhere central if possible.

I am not planning a trip to la belle province this summer but very happy to see interest in a meetup in Montreal.
I had great meetups with other forumites in the past and would encourage anyone to give it a try. Heck, we are going at the ERE Fest in September.

We had a meetup in the old Montreal a few winters ago and on the south shore last fall.

I'm glad to know you had good experiences in Montreal. Yes, I'm new to the forum, but not new to the FIRE concepts. I'm a 43-year-old female that worked many years in engineering and is now working part time (various gigs), having a minimalist, simple way of living. I live on a small budget.

Just saw this, I don't log often these days. Yeah, I'd be down. I'm busy all week & weekend, but after that I'll have more time. I'm on the south shore but I often bike into the city, so we can do something on the island. Old Port and parc Jean-Drapeau are both nice and not too far, but I'd be open to do something else if you have anything in mind.
