Could a strikethrough font be added to signal corrections/edits? I feel like editing a mistake in a comment without a clear indication is a bit like Stalin rewriting history.

Sure, one could wait to have the perfect information before writing, but such is not the nature of the interwebs.

The thing is, I just use the phpbb software---or more specifically, I pay someone to administrate it for me. I don't change it or add anything, not even the logo. This is so that if it breaks, it will be very easy to replace.

Thus if this feature or any requested feature shows up in the default software, it will be there. Otherwise not.
