This isn't exact, need to refine it some but my "until age 70" number is about 1.6% and my "until age 80" number is about 0.8% (I think).

@2Birds1Stone
I'm going to guess your savings rate was in the 55-60% range that whole time or did you gradually reduce expenses throughout the years? Nice progress btw

Re: SWR milestone record
Windfall. Parents sold inherited property and split the proceeds between me + siblings. 25x JAFI. Now waiting for SPY to correct to 170
Re: SWR milestone record
Things got a little quiet now the market's falling
(Because my SWR was so high anyway, it has remained pretty much static - 70.3% - but not really a good thing. Just shows how little I had saved in the first place)

@egg
so true!
I was at 5.1%WR on 1/1/20. Now 5.8%.
If I had sold all my holdings 1/1/19 and stayed in cash equivalents, earning just a few K in interest over the past 15 months, today would be the day that I'm about even.

Re: SWR milestone record
Based on my actual 2019 spending and 1st Jan 2020 networth... 18.1%.
Not good! This is basically an overspend issue rather than low networth issue. 1st Jan 2020 assets with 2013 spending... 7.7%.
I'm still conventionally employed, and want to reduce the implicit WR significantly by 1st Jan 2021 primarily by decreasing spending.

3.8% at 1JAFI
I don't have money to fart but seeing a 3.8 makes me feel good so

Re: SWR milestone record
12/01/2018 - 32.97% [$750,000 * 0.04 = $30,000 / $91,000]
04/30/2019 - 20.34% [$600,000 * 0.04 = $24,000 / $118,000]
05/22/2019 - 17.78% [$600,000 * 0.04 = $24,000 / $135,000]
11/12/2019 - 16.90% [$600,000 * 0.04 = $24,000 / $142,000]
04/30/2020 - 15.21% [$600,000 * 0.04 = $24,000 / $157,800]
Hoping to have investments up to $200,000k by end of year but learned with recent virus market rout this isn't so predictable (My whole adult life was in a bull run). So really....if I want to make significant SWR progress, I need to up a Wheaton level.

Re: SWR milestone record
I'm sitting around 3% at current expenses including taxes and fees. Long journey since fall 2012. Still employed. No immediate plans for a change, although with COVID, it may come on its own. New top financial goal is to create alternative sources of revenue besides employment and investments.
