I couldn't agree more that the Sweedish model was the way to go. We made a huge mistake by not using it.

The sad thing is that both parties proposals were essentially the same. Bush started the bailouts and Obama continued them. Both parties are actually "Keynesians" in that they like big government and big spending. They just like to spend it on different things, though not as different as they used to be.
