Hey all,
I'm 31 and live in Nashville. I only discovered the FIRE movement a year or so ago, thanks to a coworker suggesting MMM to me. I'm not quite at the extreme level of frugality of ERE, though I certainly aspire to be. I try to strike a balance between working toward FI and keeping the wife happy.

Welcome, your spouse might surprise you. After mine early retired at age 47, he suddenly embraced a significantly higher level of frugality. Turns out that he had been paying attention. Without the corporate influence and those people, he could be totally down with it. Now he’s becoming more minimalist than me!
