Republic Wireless 12 months for the price of 10 months

Republic Wireless is now offering a discount of two months free if you pay for 10 months all at once. The catch is that it is non refundable whereas their service is normally month to month. https://forums.republicwireless.com/t/l ... tion/27267

Hopefully this doesn't mean they are going to start changing things or going out of business, I like them a lot.

They're probably trying to better compete with Mint Mobile, which offers discounts for prepaying months ahead of time.

Resurrecting this thread to note that Republic Wireless is now owned by DISH. I'm expecting the price to go up and the quality to go down but maybe I will be surprised.

Side note, I looked into working for DISH due to their location and some positions available at the time and realizing that it sounded like a terrible place to work. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/dish-net ... 08712.html.

I switched to Mint Mobile from Republic, approaching 2 years ago now. I've been happy with the change. More data, and if you burn it all, they throttle you down to 3G. Republic cut me off until I paid more, a couple times.
