NYC meet and greet?
NYC meet and greet?
I'm going to be in NYC from, roughly, Sept. 26- Oct. 2. Anyone want to meet up? I'm going to be staying with friends so I can't provide a place (none of my friends are into this kind of stuff). We could meet at a bar or restaurant or a park if you demand to keep it ERE kosher, unless someone who lives there wants to volunteer a spot. I'm going to be staying in either Williamsburg or Bed-Stuy.

I'de be down. I work right near Penn Station, would gladly grab lunch one day, or maybe a coffee early morning before hand, a beer after. You let me know.

@BeyondTheWrap: Any time/ location constraints? Currently looking at an undetermined time and an undetermined place somewhere near midtown.

Re: NYC meet and greet?
Near midtown would be ideal. If we're looking at the weekend, my availability would be limited to the beginning of the day. I'd be able to do Saturday until 11:30 am or Sunday until 2:30 pm. On a weekday I'd be a little more flexible; I could do a weekday early afternoon starting about 12 pm or a weekday evening (including Friday).

I won't be in the city on a weekend. Will duck out of work around lunch time for an hour or two.
Re: NYC meet and greet?
Alright, my tickets are booked, coming in the 26th and leaving the 3rd. I've got family shit on the 27th, 28th and 30th. If we're going for a weekday then I guess it's down to the 1st or the 2nd. Is either day better for either/ both of you?

Monday lunch would be better for me.
Re: NYC meet and greet?
Monday it is! Does that work for you 2Birds1Stone? Don't let these Canadians and Chicagonians cuck us with their September meetups. Everyone knows the only true month of meeting is October! PM me with your phone numbers and preferred meeting place in Midtown. I'm looking forward to meeting you both.

Oi, Monday *should* work....but my schedule for work is unknown that far out. This upcoming Monday has me in northern NJ for an 11 AM meeting, but the 1st is clear for now. If not I'll have availability later this week, etc.

The meetup occurred yesterday; Jin+Juice and I were in attendance. Topics of conversation included bike commuting, the importance of having a like-minded social circle, and the question of when DIY is really worth it.

That I wasn't there, or that intelectual property doesn't last 5 centuries
(I needed to post this somewhere and didn't wanted to create a new topic and polute the whole forum instead of just this topic, but if someone likes 16th century black metal, he might like it...)
