Multi millionaires

Has anyone on here made it to the level of multi millions in net worth which was somehow assisted with ERE type principles? Eg just for an example you were so extreme frugal you quit your job with $300k and then started a business which took off? Or you were so extreme frugal and had a high paying job that you ended up with a couple million in assets? Or that ERE gave you the balls to take some big career risks which jettisoned your income while expenses stayed low?
