Re: New forum ads?
@bryan - That one is a free backfill and actually from a well-known forum member.
Re: New forum ads?
knew it was too good to be true
Re: New forum ads?
@jp, You need to get up with the times. Ads are in the past!
Re: New forum ads?
So.... yeah.
There was this image -no text, just the image- of a guy (presumably sitting down) in an old-school goalie-style hockey mask and a woman with a well-proportioned bossom supported by a white no-frills bra, her head misogynistically cropped from the image, accusationally pointing a multimeter at the faceless man.
Curiosity got the better of me...
I clicked...
It was an ad about getting rid of sweat smells...
*disappointed*

Re: New forum ads?
Call me an optimist, but I'm waiting for the day when I see THREE hot blonde chicks, not just TWO.

Re: New forum ads?
Is anyone else also seeing the new "This could cause WW3!" advertisement?

Re: New forum ads?
I will repeat for the 5th time. Everybody is seeing the same set of ads. Some human, likely one who reads the forum or has an algo reading it, is changing them manually on buysellads.com
I know this because I get an email asking me to approve the change everytime it happens.

That means we're being watched.

Re: New forum ads?
But I haven't seen the WWIII ad. I definitely would have clicked on it if I'd seen it.

Browser caching? It was approved less than two days ago. And incidentally, I just got another email.
Re: New forum ads?
I understand that much Jacob.
I should have asked "how many noticed the WW3" ad.
Many seemed interested in that thread.
Also, advertiser seems to be using a banner rotator for A/B Split Testing CTR (click through rate) of 2 banners.

Re: New forum ads?
No need to click the 'Active Topics' link on this forum. Just look at the ads to see what's goooooin' oooon.

Re: New forum ads?
I clicked on two (the blonde and the WWIII one) and neither one works.

You mean the products they are advertising?enigmaT120 wrote:I clicked on two (the blonde and the WWIII one) and neither one works.
Re: New forum ads?
Now I'm wondering what the WWIII one was advertising.
Re: New forum ads?
I'm now seeing ads with naked people about "raw animal attraction."
@7w5, I blame you.
