Damn, I was really pulling for Killary so Trump voter is a knock against him for me. I Imagine Killdawg having similar thoughts when she was deciding whether or not to move to Arkansas.

There's a lot of Texas bashing in this thread. I wouldn't knock it until you've tried it.
I'll pile on, a little. While on a bicycle tour (Austin, Fredericksburg, New Braunfels loop), I came to really, really despise all the fenced, private property. It seemed like the entire stretch of highway had a 10 yard shoulder then non-stop cattle fences. It really sucked to pass some beautiful scenery and not be able to get a better vantage point or to have the sun beating down on you and not having any chance to take shelter because all the trees in the last five miles have been fenced in and you don't see any near the road to the horizon. Only 4.2% of land in Texas is public (45th worst).

I just wanted a woman president. Kill who you have to.

Is there a Jill Scott who is not the R&B singer?

Have you seen the Monica ted talk, because, damn, she is hotter now than in the cigar days.

I would still sleep with Hillary first because I have a weird thing for women who I believe can kill me with a) their bare hands or b) a drone strike c) Bill Clinton.

Colorado sux.

"Wherever you go you got to carry you with you. You ain't gonna all of a sudden be a different person just cause you in a different city. You can put that out your head right now."

Louise in "Seven Guitars" by August Wilson

I'm with Louise. There has to be something exceptional about the city or the circumstance to justify a move. IMHO, it cannot only not be solely "change for sake of change" but ""change for sake of change" can't even enter the decision making process.

I've only read back a few pages, but I don't see anywhere in the whether-to-move-to-TX discussion where you talk about how much you actually like the BF. Did I miss it? Are you in love with the guy or at least in love with hanging out with him? Or does he fall into the compatible and useful* column? If it's the latter, why would you move someplace you don't like to be with him?

OTOH, you do seem stuck where you are. I'm not sure that has anything to do with geography but a drastic move might unstick you.

*I don't mean that to sound as bad as it sounds. At our age criteria change, and for good reason.

I read the first paragraph a few times and decided its better to forego comprehension and potential stroke event as opposed to potential comprehension but one side of body rendered unusable in the process. I'm just hoping its you wearing the tight black turtle neck. Otherwise, I just pleasured myself to some dude who probably looks like Charles Emerson Winchester, III and well, although it wasn't the the first time something along those lines has happened, it never seems to lose its shameful after-shocks.

Now the second paragraph I might be able to work with. When the Catch 22 based ensemble frolic that holds its own in light of both book and screen adaptation morphs into a vehicle for a self-righteous star's turgid anti-Vietnam indulgence, you have lost initial appeal and are now in it for the money/familiarity/job security, especially as you have witnessed the multiple fails of your beloved co-stars to successfully make it on their own. Now there is nothing inherently wrong with maintaining commitment during said transition. Perhaps your last hurrah will result in unprecedented success that vindicates you hanging in there. But man, what a fucking slog to put yourself through for a maybe.

I think it best the world be spared from two more middle aged, hyper sexual types throwing more cringe down the literary black hole of an already overly saturated genre. Not to mention, I see the audience for a hybrid spin involving such arcane and disparate themes as permaculture and skull fucking to be quite limited. And that's not even bringing up the reader's inevitable need for both float chart and thesaurus, rendering the "at least one free hand" requirement impossible.

You misspelled "restraints" and "thigh high leather boots" and it kinda ruined it.
