Thanks guys. Being still in my 20s, it feels even more special :)

@Felipe
I don't have any advice for you on finding places, I'm currently living for 9 years in same flat.

I'm thinking about that hike. Did you make hotel reservations ahead or walk in each night?? The latter would be convenient if you didn't end up on the street often.

I never prebooked any hotels, as it kills flexibility and freedom. And by using hotels you miss one of the best part of trips like this:

This month I did four multiday hikes, to use last bits of british summer (if 5'C nighttime and 15'C daytime you can call a summer)

That's over half a year already! During this time I managed to climb Great Wall of China, hike in Himalayas, get married and did few other things. I'm doing strong, but still have some "what if" thoughts from time to time, but there is nothing to worry about. Everything can be fixed. That was the best decision ever and I will never regret it.

Life is good.

That will be two years in two weeks time since FIRE! I got few curious indirect questions how I pay my bills, haha. Life is crazy as never before. I bought some rental properties, two tiny apartments few blocks away from city center and refubrished them all by myself to do some real work and get 8% net returns, which is great.

Currently savings status: 42.7years of expenses, more than ever before, woohoo.

Just read the whole journal, inspiring. It seems your WR is quite low, so you should still be able to increase your assets over time. All that while still in your twenties - impressive. Which European country are you from? Wild guess: Poland?

Good morning people on the internet! That's silly, I know 😉

That's almost five years of being non productive asset for world's economy! Time flies! Lot's of changes again, found a new place for myself and my growing family, this time something permanent. I managed to get it for less than market value, as I was a first person to see it and offered cash purchase. Refubrished from top to bottom by my own as always. Those two things combined saved me more money that 1-2 years of work at regular job and was tax free!

All that virus hustle make me to stop taking all those fancy international trips, which was pitty at the beggining, but it make me into discovering my own country as never before. That's great, as I was focused top much on distant destinations and missed all those closeby places and activities!

I also got into cars a bit. I bought a $1000 pretty rare "youngtimer", put some effort and little money into it to make it great again. Going for local car meets and getting thumbs up from random people is cool! I made some new friends and learned few things about fixing cars! This weekend I was invided for biggest local car show od the year, can't be more excited!

When I decided to pull a trigger with FIRE I was really woried about silly money questions. Now Iearned how to deal with them easly, depending who is asking. My simple answer is: I work from home, I trade stocks, I'm financial advisor (for myself 🤭), I'm a gangster or drug dealer 😆.

My withdrawal rate? Well, I don't really care about it anymore. ERE is NOT about money as I though before.

Life is good.
