Taking the earlier date gives you time to absorb any changes in perspective. To the extent it could impact your plan, there may be an argument in favor.

Even now, after having taken a twelve week leave last year, I don't feel I can predict what not working will be like. The leave was absolutely different than I expected.

Shucks Dave! What happened? Just time to move on? If you don't answer, I'll understand. Sad to see you go though as it was always interesting reading what you had to say. Best wishes and hopefully you're staying around just not journaling?

That's a pity Dave, I've always found your thoughts tremendously insightful and your journals have helped me develop my own thinking. I hope you'll stick around to share your thoughts some more.
