Ha! I love Puddles, but the additional surprise was great.

Sturgill Simpson is a new one for me but one of the linked songs has a message that might resonate with some here:
If you liked that one, try "Turtles all the way down" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gBV-Nzq7Pg

House music in the late 90s/early 00s style. If you're familiar with the Global Underground series, that kind of sound. I'm old and set in my ways now, so can't be convinced to try anything new.

I love hip hop that tells stories. "You Never Know" by Immortal Technique is an incredible song.

Expansion Outro by Reflection Eternal is also quite good. It's the producer Hi-Tek and Talib Kweli, a truly badass rapper + social activist. The album is literally called "Train of Thought."

Yeah, Modest Mouse is great. Lonesome Crowded Nest is probably a top album of all time. Another top album of all time that comes to mind immediately is Mars Volta - Deloused in the Comatorium

Although the album came out before it, 'Cowboy Dan' from Lonesome Crowded West could have been written about GWB's presidency.

I've seen The Mars Volta play numerous times and they give a great live show. Sometimed if I find myself alone in the house I play 'Cassandra Gemini' off Frances the Mute loud, and jump around like a crazy person.

I really love the Back Street Boys Band, that band was so much famous in the nineties.
One of my favorite song from that band is "I want it that way"
