Early Retirement Extreme Forums

I'm considering getting a Fuji Instax mini 8 instant camera and wondering if anyone knows about this kind of thing? At first I thought I wanted an old-fashioned Polaroid but they seem mega-expensive and of doubtful production quality.

I want it to use at a children's birthday party, so it has to make decent pictures, be easy to use, and not be too easily breakable. If you can give me any advice it'd be much appreciated.
